Started a little bit on Atomic Structure for chemistry today.
First thing that comes into my mind when Atomic Structure is being mentioned is this.
Protons, electrons and neutrons. Like for example the relative mass of each of them.
I could clearly remember that neutrons and protons have the same relative mass, which is 1, while electrons have a relative mass of 1/1840.
The table below summarises the particles.

The quiz on Atomic Structure was fun and interesting, there were some terms I wasn't sure of too.
Like for example "isoelectrons" and ions are less energically stable than their element.
Hope my doubts will be clarified in the next few lessons.
That's all for today.

My choosen career...?
Ok, since I was in primary school, I have always wanted to be a teacher.
At that point of time, it wasn't specific to what kind of teacher I want to be, like for example, relief teacher, mathematics teacher, physics teacher or mother tongue teacher.
Till now, I still have that passion to be a teacher, a Mathematics teacher to be specific.

Why a mathematics teacher?
Firstly, why teacher?
It's because I like teaching, both theorically and practically. I want to educate and then have a sense of accomplishment. Like for example, an English teacher teaches his/her class how to write good paragraphs for their composition, the class then apply what they've learnt in their examinations, upon seeing the results, the teacher will have the sense of having done his/her job, which is teaching.
Secondly, why mathematics?
This is very simple, this is because mathematics is my favourite subject. Not only that, it challenges the mind because a mathematics question can be solved by more than 1 way.
Let me give you an example.

The question wants you to find x.
You can use 2 ways to solve this.
First way, use Pythagoras Theorem.

Secondly, you can use sin rule.
So there you have it, 2 ways to solve the question.
That's all I have to state.

Ok, firstly, my strengths and weaknesses.
StrengthsWriting Equations- Chemical Equations and Ionic Equations
- Example: Hydrochloric acid + Sodium Hydroxide --> Sodium Chloride + Water
- Chemical Equation: HCl(aq) + NaOH(aq) --> NaCl(aq) + H2O(l)
- Ionic Equation: H+(aq) + OH-(aq) --> H2O(l)
WeaknessesOxidation & Reduction -- Redox Reaction
- Not sure when it's a oxidation, reduction or redox reaction.
Macromolecules
- Not sure exactly what it Condensation Polymerisation.
Acids & Bases
- Can't differentiate Acidic, Amphoteric and Basix Oxides well.
So as you can see, there are more weaknesses than strengths.
Well, there are more to list out, but these are the significant ones.
So there you have it.

Did titration during lab period.
Kept overshooting in my readings and my solution will turn pink, not pale pink. ):

In the 2nd experiment, my readings of burette are all above 50 cm.
Little did I know that I can top up the burette so that I can get the accurate readings. \:
I really need to revise on my labaratory skills, avoiding parallex error and stuffs.
I shall stop here then.
